Preparing statutory walkthroughs in cloud finance

High-rise office buildings

After a cloud ERP go-live, statutory auditors in Korea often ask the same family of questions they asked on the legacy system — but the answers now live in unfamiliar menus, exports, and role models. Walkthrough readiness is rehearsal, not improvisation.

Pick one end-to-end story

Choose a single purchase-to-pay or order-to-cash path that touches journals, approvals, and a standing-data change. Script who speaks, which screen appears, and which extract backs each claim. Keep the script under forty-five minutes; longer sessions lose the audience.

Pre-load the evidence pack

Assemble PDFs and CSV extracts the night before. Label files with assertion names, not internal ticket IDs. If an extract requires elevated access, arrange a read-only auditor ID in advance — do not discover the permission gap mid-meeting.

Practice with a skeptic

Ask a colleague who was not on the project team to interrupt with “how do you know nobody edited this after posting?” Their discomfort is useful. Capture the gaps and fix the pack before the real session.

Language and dual reporting

Many Korean entities host both local statutory auditors and group auditors. Prepare bilingual labels on key screenshots when needed, and agree which trails are entity-level versus consolidation-level to avoid duplicate fishing expeditions.

Our Statutory Walkthrough Studio clinic expands this rehearsal. The flagship course covers the surrounding trail inventory work.
